Diana & David- Portage Wedding

David & Diana's wedding at Lakeview Park in Portage was absolutely impeccable. David proposed to Diana at this very park and so of course it was the perfect site for their nuptials. They opted to have immediate family present and headed to Martell's in Kalamazoo for dinner afterwards. They are having a cook-out celebration in the park with family and friends next month. Diana looked vintage chic with her antique jewelry choices. Her wedding band is from the 1930's and David proposed with his Great Grandmother's engagement ring from the 1920's. Her bracelet was given to her by David's grandmother and she found her earrings and hairpiece at an antique fair. Diana's bouquet was designed after 1930's style put together by her sister. It was gorgeous with roses dangling by ribbon. She definitely had a vision for the look she wanted and looked breathtaking.  My favorite part of the ceremony was the unity soup (sorry Diana I could find a better word.) Instead of a unity candle or sand they had everyone in attendance bring up an ingredient to add to the jar. I've never seen anything like it, it was so creative and involved everyone which I loved! To top off the details David had legos custom designed for their cake topper.
